  1. So glad I found this Lin. I’ve been a fan since I started teaching AP Calculus in 2001, my second year of teaching. I moved and didn’t teach again until 3 years ago. I have two questions if you have a moment.

Scoring changes it seems. Are there any parts I should confirm with recent scoring guidelines?

Do you happen to have the handouts?

    Thanks Lin,

    Bill

    • Hi Bill

      Welcome back.

For scoring which changes slightly from year to year, I suggest you study at the scoring standards from recent exams. You can find them at your audit website: click on “Resources” at the top of the page. This just month, the College Board removed all but the most recent 3 years FR exams. I suggest you download the exams that are there (2022 – 2024) and SAVE them. The 2025 exam will be posted soon (and the 2022 exam removed). Again study the scoring standards and the Chief Reader’s Report to see how scoring is going. In January 2026(?) a new full exam (MC & FR) will be released, so don’t miss that. This will remain for a few years (3 I think) before another is released. The older questions have been moved to the AP Classroom section and divided up by topic, so the full exams are really no longer there although the questions are.

I have no handouts except what you can find on posts on my blog. You might want to look at https://blog.mathmedic.com/ and https://mathmedic.com/ they are doing a great job there.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch, if you have questions or if I can be of any more help.

      Have a great year.

      Lin
